Risk management as a strategic activity of organizations is increasingly common. This is due to a series of advantages that entrepreneurs recognize in it, which allows guaranteeing, to a greater or lesser extent, the success of projects or business units. Thus, such management applied to those risks considered foreseeable and has gained importance especially in the construction sector. Although the literature shows a significant number of studies that examine the management of foreseeable risks in this sector, in the Colombian context there are few that analyze it. Thus, the present work aims to design strategies for the management of this type of risk in larger tenders in the construction sector.
