The central theme of this research is the application of environmentalprotection standards that go against the work and qualityof the farmers live. Methodology:Therefore, through a documentary review, especially regulations, and a non-participatory action research exercise, where through surveys applied to a representative number of farmers from Chapinero in Bogotá, Colombia. Their experience with the application of these standards by institutional entities was validated against their needs as inhabitants of the region. Results: It was found that, until now, despite holding monitoring and implementationof some projects. Discussions:Ithas not been enough for the creation and implementation of activities aimed at ensuring productive alternatives for the inhabitants who live from production and commercialization in environmentallyprotected areas in Colombia has not been sufficient.Conclusions: This farmers are forced to migrate due to the impacton their economic and productive development and, in themselves, their essence as peasant families.First of all, the new generations, leading to a type of “biological control” of the population based on restrictions that affect the survival of this community.
