Fruit production is a growing economic activity; however, the availability of fruits has been insuf-ficient despite the increase in global production. Efficiency in supply chains plays a crucial role in addressing aspects such as food security, waste, freshness of produce, production, logistics, and others. The lack of consolidated information on the functioning of these supply chains in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) hinders decision-making. This study aims to attend the need for information and provide a bibliographic foundation for future research.The aim of the study was to document the current state of related literature to supply chains for fruit species in LAC through a scoping review in Scopus, Elsevier, and SciELO. As a result, it was found that Brazil and Colombia have the majority of studies, with bananas and avocados being the predominant species. The search for sustainability is a frequent concern, as well as the study of causes and possible strategies for reducing losses, management indicators, and the strategic com-ponent. Future research is encouraged to delve deeper into understanding the operability within supply chains in LAC.
