In opposition to the stressed objectivity demanded by the conventional science system, Zemelman's epistemic-methodological proposal advocates the restitution of the subject in the research process. This action takes place at the same time as the approach to the problematization of the object of research. Still, it requires that, previously, the individual has identified his knowledge relationship, that is, the subjective emotional affectation that mediates between him and the world from which he understands reality. For Zemelman, this relationship is dynamic, articulated by processes, and susceptible to change by the individuals that integrate it. This reason justifies the subject's intervention in problematizing reality, thus becoming the object of research.
